Instructions To Remove The Yahoo Toolbar

Yahoo toolbar is developed by the search engine Yahoo for providing users with easy access to their search features from the Yahoo server without having the need for visiting the site. Most of the times, the toolbar slows down your browser and you consider removing toolbar from your system. Follow the instructions given below for removing the Yahoo toolbar from your computer. 

Instructions To Delete Yahoo Toolbar Using Control Panel 
  • Exit from your web browser by clicking on the Close button located at the top right corner of your browser window. 
  • Now go to the left bottom corner of your desktop and click on the Start button to open the Start menu. 
  • In the right hand side of the Start menu, you can find an option named Control Panel, click on it to open the Control Panel window. 
  • When the Control Panel window opens, look for an option named Add or Remove Programs and click on it to view the entire list of programs installed in your computer. 
  • Scroll down through the list until you find the Yahoo toolbar and then select it. 
  • Now go to the top of the Add or Remove Programs window and then click on the Remove button for removing Yahoo toolbar from your computer. 
  • Restart you computer by clicking on the Restart option in the Shut down dialog box that can be opened by clicking on the Shut down button in the Start menu for completely removing the toolbar from your computer. 
Instructions To Delete Yahoo Toolbar From Firefox
  • Open the Firefox web browser by double clicking on its desktop shortcut icon or by clicking on its icon found in the All Programs option in the Start menu. 
  • When the program opens, look for the Tools option at the top of the window and then click on it. 
  • Now select the option named Add-ons from the drop down menu by clicking on it. 
  • A small dialog box will open now showing all the add-ons installed with the Firefox browser. Scroll down through the list to find the Yahoo toolbar and select it when found. 
  • Click on the Uninstall button for removing Yahoo toolbar from your system. 
  • Restart the browser by closing it and then reopening the browser again. 
If you follow the simple instructions given above, you can easily get rid of the Yahoo toolbar installed in your web browser.
